Drama unfolded on the sets of Netflix’s popular comedy series, ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, when Parineeti Chopra’s mother-in-law suddenly fell ill during the shoot. The actress, along with her husband Raghav Chadha—AAP politician and India’s youngest Rajya Sabha MP—had arrived to film a special episode that was highly anticipated by fans. Parineeti’s appearance marked her first on-screen stint since her wedding in 2023.

According to reports by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani, Parineeti and Raghav were joined on set by Raghav’s mother. Shooting was already underway when, out of the blue, Raghav’s mother’s health deteriorated. Initially, efforts were made to help her on set, but as her condition worsened, she was rushed to the hospital. The incident caused panic among the crew, leading to an immediate halt and eventual cancellation of the shoot for the day.
