Bihar Election Dates Announced

The wait is finally over for Bihar’s upcoming elections. The Election Commission has officially announced the dates: voting will take place in two phases, on November 6 and November 11. The counting of votes will happen on November 14, which is also celebrated as Children’s Day. By then, Bihar will know who will lead its next government.

The Chief Election Commissioner revealed these details in a press conference in Patna. The final voter list has been shared with all political parties, and any errors can be corrected up to ten days before nominations. Voters can now use the ECI Net app to connect directly with their BLO (Booth Level Officer) by entering their voter card details.

Compared to previous years, the election process is more streamlined. In 2020, Bihar elections were held in three phases, while in 2015, there were five phases. This time, nearly 70 million voters are ready to participate in the festival of democracy.

The battle for Bihar has begun, and all arrangements are in place for a smooth and fair election.
