On July 12, 2025, headlines exploded over claims that Abdu was arrested at Dubai International Airport around 5:00 am for alleged theft. However, in an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Abdu set the record straight:
“Hello, everyone, it’s Abdu Rozik. I want to talk about the fake news they put all over the world. They are saying I got arrested in Dubai. Of course, it’s fake, because you can see I am here. Everything is okay, I am safe and working as usual.”
Abdu says the drama was engineered by his ex-management, IFCM, who he claims spread false statements accusing him of stealing his own property—including a Gucci bag and his mobile phone, both gifts. He emphasized that none of these allegations were true and that the reports misled fans and media alike.
